About Kent

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan. I obtained my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary. I have certifications in Gottman Level 1 and 2. I am also a Recognized Smart Stepfamily Therapy Provider.

My experience includes grief/loss counseling, marriage counseling, divorce and stepfamily-related issues, premarital counseling, depression, anxiety, anger management, infidelity, pornography struggles, and life transitions. However, I also see adults with divorced parents to help them work through the triggers, anger, fears, unforgiveness, father hunger, and other issues that can weaken relationships, self-image, and their spiritual foundation.

Though I counsel from a Christian perspective, I endeavor to respect the spirituality or spiritual abstinence of each client. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples achieve their goals by allowing them to give voice to their concerns and struggles in a safe and welcoming environment.
